Katherine Blaska Dodd

Katie is a founding partner of the Blaska Holm law firm serving Atlanta metro area and many other clients in the state of Georgia. She specializes in injury litigation, wills, trusts and estates, and criminal defense. Katie is passionate about advocating for her clients and takes pride in the fact that Blaska Holm is largely referral based with many repeat clients.

Years of Experience

Katie has been a practicing attorney for six years. She served her community as a professional realtor for 11+ years and turned her attention to law in 2010. Katie began as a legal assistant and decided to carry on her family legacy in the legal field. While working at her family’s firm as office manager, she attended Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School as a part-time student and graduated cum laude in May 2017 on an academic scholarship.

Through that experience, Katie learned how to build injury litigation cases from the initial client agreement through trial and appeal. She also focuses on wills, trusts, and estates, and enjoys helping individuals and families plan for the future. Katie likewise handles estate administration when a loved one has passed away.

Katie teamed up with Charles and Jeff to create a larger and more diversified platform to be able to better serve clients’ litigation needs.

Early Years

A native of Atlanta, Katie graduated from The Westminster Schools and earned her Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing from the Terry College of Business at The University of Georgia. In 2003, she began her career as a residential realtor and worked at two prominent firms in Atlanta. In 2010, Katie transitioned into a career in law.

Outside of Work

When Katie isn’t in the office or courtroom, she enjoys spending time with her family, golfing, traveling, and rooting on the Georgia Bulldogs and Green Bay Packers.
